An off-shoot of About A Place, Tree Portraits looks at the trees surrounding the market garden.

The nearby Preseli Hills, alleged source of the bluestones which form the smaller circle at Stonehenge. Along the ridge of the hill runs the gold road, a route for transporting gold from Ireland in prehistoric times. At either end sit Iron Age hill forts and burial mounds.

The title Procession refers to the procession of breaths my father fights to take or, in a wider sense, to the procession from birth to death. Taken in his 80th year and exhibited shortly after he died that year.
